KIDS CONNECTION After-School Enrichment Program give children the opportunity
to work on their homework, play educational games, participate in arts and crafts
activities and have a snack. Many of the children are from
single-parent homes and do not have a parent home after-school.

Arts and Crafts Project Volunteer needed for after-school projects with children
living in an affordable housing development in Greece.

The mission of the Jewish Community Federation of Greater Rochester is to enrich
the quality of life for Jews in Rochester, Israel and around the world.
The Federation meets this goal through financial resource development,
planning, education, community relations, and volunteer recruitment and training.

Donate new or gently used children’s books. All books are distributed to children in
city schools for them to take home and "own".

Mary Cariola Children’s Center provides the highest quality individualized services
for children with developmental delays and especially those with complex or multiple disabilities.

Volunteer in residential programs helping children in a home setting with
recreational activities out in the community -- to the mall, swimming, etc.
evenings and weekends. Developmental disabilities vary.

Mommies for Miracles is an organization that raises funds to purchase gift (luxury/comfort)
items specifically for children being cared for in specialized not-for-profit institutions.

Volunteers needed with experience in grant writing, accounting services, sales
and event organization. Donate blankets, books, cash donations (tax deductible),
dolls, music, DVDs, new toys.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children assist in the recovery of
missing children and to prevent child victimization through prevention education
of child abduction, molestation, and sexual exploitation.

Volunteer as an intern to assist in the Prevention Education Department.
Training provided to help interns observe, prepare and eventually teach prevention
education presentations. Minimum of 16 hours per week required.
