Easter Seals has a variety of services to help people with disabilities
address life's challenges and achieve personal goals.

Volunteer to help children with disabilities and their families in the Rochester area.

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTERS OF ROCHESTER

Family Resource Centers of Rochester provide parent and early
childhood education, link families to essential services and support
families as they advocate and care for themselves and their children.

Volunteer in a classroom with pre-K or 2-3 year olds and be a reading buddy.
General classroom assistance is also needed. Provide meals for evening classes
or volunteer in a child care group.

Call and select a location at which to be assigned.

FLOWER CITY SOCCER

Flower City Soccer contributes to the personal growth of its participants
through the enhancement of physical and life skills and improvement of academic performance.

Volunteer to coach or assist in coaching boys and girls teams, ages 8-14 in city neighborhoods.

FOODLINK Kids Café

FOODLINK currently sponsors eleven Kids Cafe programs throughout the Greater Rochester area.
These programs attempt to lessen the impact of hunger by offering children a hot nutritious supper,
after school homework help, and nutritional education.

Volunteer to assist with our Kids Café programs. The hours are generally limited to Monday
through Friday, from 2 pm to 5 pm during the school year. Must be ages 14 years old and up.

GOLISANO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AT STRONG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong serves as a primary care and emergency medical
facility for the community. It has a 70-bed pediatric floor serving children and families
with acute illnesses, plus an additional 52-bed intensive-care nursery. Volunteers needed
to play with children in the inpatient and outpatient playrooms and movie library.

Grace Urban Ministries programs serve the Maplewood and Edgerton neighborhoods in the city
of Rochester and are designed to improve economic and educational opportunity, as well as
increase resident involvement to help address quality of life issues.

Volunteer to help tutor at-risk children attending School 34. Tutors will work one-to-one
with students focusing on reading, writing, math and language skills. Minimum of 6
hours per month required.
